Sale of Iraqi oil in May reached nearly 2.5 million Barrels

London (KurdishMedia.com) 03 June 2012: The Iraqi Oil Ministry stated that during May of this year, Iraq exported 2,452,000 barrels of oil a day. The average cost of a barrels was US$105. The total income of oil in May was US$8B.

The Ministry also informed that every day from the oil fields of Basra 186,000 Barrels and of Kirkuk 459,000 Barrels have been exported to the international market. Additionally, 70,000 Barrels have been exported to Iran in oil tankers.

According to a speaker of the Iraqi oil ministry, Iraqi income of oil was US$39B for the first five weeks of this year. At average, the value of a Barrel was US$112.
